Sean McLaughlin

President and CEO

Sean is the recognized leader and expert in the forensic auditing industry, having spent the past 22 years representing insurance carriers, TPAs, and self-insured companies manage and optimize their cost containment programs. He is responsible for obtaining in excess of $100 million in saving for his clients. As an expert in the specialty review process, Sean has been credited in establishing case law in various parts of the country.

Sean attended Franklin Pierce College.

Courtney McLaughlin

Executive Vice President

Courtney has extensive experience in forensic auditing within the Workman’s Compensation Industry. He has specialized in providing utilization reviews and reports for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. With Liberty Asset Recovery, Courtney has gained significant knowledge in reviewing trauma hospital bills and identifying potential billing errors and meeting cost containment objectives. He has experience in successfully negotiating hospital reconsiderations and has gained an overall understanding of industry practices throughout the country.

Courtney attended Penn State University and played on the school hockey team.

Ryan Somerville

Client Development Specialist

Ryan has an impressive and diverse background in the sales and marketing industry. Utilizing his organizational skills, he has extensive experience in client development and management, business management, marketing, and company branding, fostering the development of local and state relations and pursuing sales opportunities throughout the country.

Ryan is a graduate of Temple University, Bachler Public Relations, Advertising and Applied Communications

Thomas McLaughlin

CFO

Thomas McLaughlin has over 40 years of corporate experience in finance and the strategic planning and redeployment of real estate as well as managing corporate client relationships. Prior to joining Liberty, Thomas spent most of his career in the chemical and real estate industries where he built and led strong teams, initiated cost effective productivity improvement plans, divested profitability corporate property and spearheaded the development and implementation of strategic and tactical business plans resulting in established baseline performance standards, demonstrated value of services and improved service delivery leading to increased productivity and significant cost benefit.
